Question : Problem: driver for dc7800 with BartPE

I am trying to get a BartPE network disk to work with a dc7800 and dc7900.  I have the BartPe working with dc7900, but the disk does not recognize the dc7800 NIC.  Here is the device that BartPE is looking for.  8086&DEV_10BD&SUBSYS_2810103C&REV_02
I have downloaded the NIC driver from HP, but this device is not listed in the INF file.

There appear to be two problems with the inf files, from a BartPe perspective.

The first, as you have noted is that device is not listed.

The second is the way the supported OSes are enumerated.  BartPE gets confused by the info for all the other OSes.

In each of the Inf Files change the following lines as follows:
In the [Manufacturer] section change
%Intel%     = Intel, NTx86.5.1, NTIA64, NTAMD64, NTx86.6.0
to
%Intel%     = Intel, NTx86

Then change the [NTx86.5.1] heading to just [NTx86]

That tweak is going to vary a little per file - some of them you might be changing [NTx86.5.1.1] to [NTx86].

I can't get the original post that the info is quoted from, but it was in response to someone working with a DC 7800 so i'm guessing it may be enough.  if it is not, then you will need to add that PCI string to one of the inf files, but I can't tell you which one.
