Question : Problem: Bios on a thinkpad R30

Hi

Does anyone now how to get into the bios on a R30 Thinkpad as i can't boot from a cd and cant find the key to enter the bios.

I misunderstood your question, I thought you wanted the bios update.  Have a look here from the service manual see page 44 of the pdf:
