Hi ,
my simple question is what RAM is better for Core2Quad CPU
2GB x 2DIMM
1GB x 4DIMM
and what does the Core2Quad have to do with the dual channel of ram which we used to have in previouse generation of CPU's

2x2gb of RAM is best. Since this is 64-bit it frees the other 2 slots. The Core 2 technology sees a greater benefit from memory running synchronously with the Front Side Bus (FSB) as well.
