Question : Problem: Unable to Get Into BIOS at all  after accepting for high Performance defaults in  BIOS

Hi Experts

I  was in the BIOS settings and selected  High performance defaults , when I rebooted I was not getting to the BIOS
screen at all, just 1 beep.  and nothing at all on screem. It is a AMI BIOS, hope that help

The motherboard is 648 Max series, SIS 648 Chipset. How do I restore my settings, so i at least am able to see something on the screem, ie get back into BIOS?
Happy to supply any further info I can.

Bit concerned, as nothing can do, decent PC!.

Answer : Problem: Unable to Get Into BIOS at all  after accepting for high Performance defaults in  BIOS

Removing battery may not work.

Your motherboard probably has a reset jumper on it to put the BIOS back to default settings.  Refer to your motherboard manual as to its position and how to use it.
