Question : Problem: Powervault 630F

Hi

I have a problem here, apparently i am new to this, but i hope someone can help me. Basically the equipment i have is:

Dell Poweredge 2600 (running Windows Server 2003)
Dell Poweredge 4400 (running CENTOS Enterprise)
Dell Powervault 56F
Dell Powervault 630F

Ok what i have done here is i have connected the DP2600 through Fibre Optic HBA to the DP56F and then from DP56F to DP630F and same goes for the DP4400 but using HSSDC connection.

Now the problem is that i dont know how to configure all of this and what software is needed to configure it. If someone could help me with that, that will be great.

Dell Doesn't support or sell the 650F/630F units any longer - I know I tried to get an expansion unit about 4 years ago.  When we got them, the cost was $2000 per day, 5 day engagement.  That was about 7-8 years ago.  I'm not saying YOU CAN'T set it up yourself, but you could end up spending DAYS... WEEKS even trying to get it to work.

Let me ask you a different question - What are you wanting to do?  Do you want a SAN?  What's your budget (SANs are NOT cheap).  What is your ultimate goal, including a context.
