AFTER THIS THE COMPUTER WORKS FINE BUT THE BUILT IN WIRELESS ADAPTOR (INTEL 802.11 B/G WIRELESS (MPCI))  DOES NOT WORK, DOES NOT SHOW UP IN DEVICE MANAGER OR IN CONTROL PANEL OR NETWORK CONNECTIONS. ALSO CANT BE TURNED ON THROUGH IBM ACCESS CONNECTIONS.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Answer : Problem: IBM THINKPAD T42 WIRELESS ADAPTOR DISAPEARED

hi i'm back
the lenovo t forume had some advice as to downloading an application and updated driver for the wireless card "Here's your wireless driver:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70504

After downloading it, you must go into C>Drivers>Win>Wlanint and run the setup file from there.

Hope this helps."
