Question : Problem: How do I set up a BE service account
Hi
I have removed Windows administator rights from a number of data directories. I assume that BE services that are running under the Administrator account will no longer allow the backups to work correctly. Is there a procedure for setting up a BE service account which has sufficient rights to backup Exchange, SQL, system files and data.
Thanks

The account should be a member of Domain Admins, unless you want to make that account local administrator of all the servers you are backing up.
