Question : Problem: Access a remote network drive

I am working on a network of several PC's and a network drive all connected to an ADSL router with internet access.
Is it possible to acces the network drive remotely, as a network place on a remote machine ? If so how ?

If you gain remote access yes u can. ex: If you connect with pcanywhere you will have a remote connection and you will be able to connect as current user of the host computer to network drive.
Another solution whould be to open port 21 and configure user rights for ftp access. I strongly recommand to use ftp server for doing this...It's more secure, if you aren't sure about the issue.
Or a $$ solution might be a VPN network.
