Question : Problem: iPod new computer sync with unit

I bought a new computer and was able to move my songs to the iTunes on the new machine but I am afraid to sync my actual iPod with the new computer as I won't be able to recover the playlists on my iPod?  How do I sync without it overwriting my iPod?

All the playlists etc should've been saved in your old iTunes also.  If you copied the entire iTunes folder you'd have the XML and settings files with all that information too.
