Question : Problem: HP PSC 1315 paper problem
|
|
I have a HP PSC 1315 that is malfunctioning.
It started jamming the paper. Both lights would come up on the printer ( the paper/cartridge lights ) and a "printer cartridge is stalled" error would come up on the computer screen followed by a " paper jammed " error.
I went to the HP customer support website and followed their suggestions until I reached " Call HP ". No luck. The problem is still there.
The only good thing is that (as long as I remove the paper from the tray first)I can send a printing command, wait for the "out of paper" error message to come up, put the exact number of pages I need to print the document in the tray , reset the printer, and the document will print just fine.
Nevertheless, If there is paper in the tray already, It will pull the paper half way through and then it will stop and the series of error messages mentioned above will come up. Sometimes, if it manages to go through with the printing, it will still continue to pull an extra page after the printing job is done and get stuck again.
