Question : Problem: How connect subwoofer to Sound Blaster Audigy SE?

I ordered a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 5.1/7.1 sound card. I installed it in a client's system, then I went to connect his three-pronged sound cable. The sound cable had black, green and yellow connectors (the yellow apparently for the subwoofer).

However, the Audigy SE card has only black, green, pink/red and blue ports. What's up? The product box clearly shows a yellow port on the card, but the actual card did not have a yellow port. The Audigy SE boasts complete 5.1 and 7.1 connectivity, though.

How do I connect the client's yellow sound cable to the Audigy SE card, or was the wrong card boxed by Creative Labs (of which I'm doubtful).

Most sound cards are now software configurable to output multichannel sound or accept microphone and line-level inputs.  Check the sound card application to see how to configure the ports - they usually provide you with a test program to make sure the speakers are hooked up correctly.
