I'm wondering if this is a flaw or this is how it was designed. The dv9000 has its own number pad, and to activate it you hit the num lock key. sounds like a great idea. however, when i hit the numlock key, the number keys work, but it also changes some of the letter keys on the keyboard into numbers.
It changes UIOP into 456* and jkl; into 123-
Is there something messed up with this laptop, or is this how it was designed? I thought the point of having a separate number pad is so you can use a keyboard and the number pad at teh same time, now it acts like alot of other laptops out there that don't come with a separate number pad.
Is there a system option to modify this? Any help?
