Question : Problem: Lost files after chkdsk
After replacing the raid 5 and restoring backup files to the server, errors were coming up about corrupt files. After a day and a half it kept saying to chkdsk and upon restart. When I did, it began checking and deleting files. Verified disk and began deleting files on its own. It tried to recover lost files but didn't get them all. I can restore from a backup tape from last Friday, but everything that was done in a day and a half is gone. Is there a way to bring that back up and restore. We are up and running now. If I reboot, can I go back to Last Known Configuration and get it back or is it to late for that since I'm running now? Is there any way to restore these files after they were deleted by chkdsk?!

I wouldn't hold my hopes up, after chkdsk does its thing. Here are the utilities in CrazyOne's list that you can try: http:Q_20658447.html
I have used GetDataBack successfully.
