Question : Problem: Yellow haze on Sony digital camera through view finder and on LCD; does not affect photos taken.

I have a Sony DSC-F717 that I've had for 3 years.  Last week, a yellow haze/border developed whenever I look through the view finder or at the LCD display.  This shows up on all screens of the LCD.  The photos I take are not affected by this haze as they print out fine.  What is causing this, and how can I get rid of it?

RDAdams is on the right track.  Reading here:

shows that this is a problem with a non-Sony part that Sony will now replace free of charge if you have proof of purchase and don't wait past October 2007.  I would guess that the wire/signal for the color blue going to the LCD display is now bad (disconnected or loose).  Contact an authorized Sony repair shop and make them fix it for free.  Good luck.
