Question : Problem: WTF's up with my iSCSI network config ???

Experts:
I just purchased an EMC AX4-5i dual-SP SAN appliance; two racks, one for SAS drives and the other with SATA drives. I'm just setting up the appliance and I'm stuck, hoping you all can help me figure something out.
If you look at the attached file you'll notice my vanilla setup: 1 server with 3 NICs connected to a pair of GigE switches configured in a meshed network connecting a pair of SP units, each with two iSCSI ports of their own.
The problem I'm having is that on the server i can only ping one of two switches and only two of four iSCSI ports

So before I go any further and start configuring iSCSI initiators or LUNs, etc...I wanted to clear up this networking mystery

I'm not a pcanywhere/VNC/RemoteDesktop guru of any kind. I'm hoping someone who is will poke their head in here and say "yes" or "no" to those possibilities.
I'd verify first that the remote desktop solutions are not viable (if they are, I wouldn't bother re-inventing the wheel). If they are not, I'd just write a small daemon (I'm a perl man myself, so I'd use that, but feel free to use whatever language suits you) that generated the reports that you want, and then get your clients to install it.

Have the client set up secure access to it (restriction to that port on an IP basis at least, a VPN certainly wouldn't hurt, etc), and encourage your cilents to monitor/log the connections to that port. If they have someone on staff that can understand your code and verify to them that it is not doing anything unintended, then I'm guessing that would make the feel even better.
