Question : Problem: Activity Monitor won't open (MacOS 10.4.11)
When I double-click on "Activity Monitor," it looks like it's opening, but it doesn't. On advice of something I found on line, I checked the Console, saw this error message:
Finder tool: request to change uid to 0 gid to -1 for /Applications/Utilities/Ac
tivity Monitor.app
2009-02-14 08:55:38.601 Activity Monitor[363] The tool is not setuid root - please repair the privileges
What is this asking me to do, and how do I do it?
Thanks,
Peter
