Question : Problem: Windows Server Enabling VPN Cuts off Internet Access
I have a server running WIndows Server 2003. Today, I was testing the VPN capabilities of the server when I noticed the following: enabling VPN on the second NIC adapter prevents the first NIC from accessing the internet. Local network access is still available, and remote computers can connect to the network via the VPN, but the server is unable to access the outside internet, which prevents some other jobs from running on the machine.

In Routing and Remote Access there should be a section for Routing. This is where you'll add the route for the Internal network. Something like:
From (internal) to 0.0.0.0 use external IP (whatever that may be).
