In answer to "Is there is a Winsock Proxy Client for MAC?"
No. The Macintosh Open Transport stack is structured completely different from the Windows stack (no winsock!).
However, on the bright side, MS Proxy Server 2 has SOCKS support. Therefore you can look for Mac TCP/IP applications that support SOCKS. See the following for more info: http://www.macwindows.com/servtips.html#MSProxy
If you are just trying to check your POP email from behind the proxy server, one workaround is to use a web-based service such as Hotmail to check that account.

Richard
