Question : Problem: motherboard failure or cmos

turned my computer on sat. and the screen comes up black with a little blue box that says override. Is this a cmos alarm that can be jumped out or a motherboard problem. Its not the monitor or the video card. I am running a p200mmx with 64 dram.

I agree with Mark2150, you have a motherboard problem. You have checked the monitor and monitor adaptor and they work.  Replace the motherboard.  For a little over $100 get a good one that clearly has a good warranty from a trustworthty dealer. You have spent enough time looking at the problem, you need to get on with a new board.
