Question : Problem: Keybaord shift stuck problem??

Hello All, I am having a problem with a computer that keeps thinking its shift key is being pressed.

The user is typing away (in word), and then goes to move the cursor to a different part of the document and it all gets highlighted. As though the shift key was being pressed.

If you press the left shift a few times, it comes good and everything returns to normal, until a few hours later the same thing happens again.

I know tapping the shift key to fix it is an easy fix, but the user just cant get over the fact that it happens..... I have changed keyboards, both PS/2 and USB.... The thing is when he is typing, the text isnt in capitols, its only the highlighting that happens...

anyone else seen this?

Go into Control Panels -> Accessibility Options and make sure StickyKeys is unchecked.  This should solve your problem.
