Question : Problem: Blue line on LCD 19" screen

I have a ViewSoinc VX912  19 inches LCD monitor.  A blue white vertical line
appears on the  left side of the screen. However the screen can display text and window
colors correctly.  What could be the problem

Any suggestion to resolve the problem would be appreciated

Does it show up if another monitor is used. If so the problem is in the video card, if not it is with the monitor. Along the edge of an LCD monitor are electrical contact points which are extremely sensitive to breakage. It looks like the connector has broken for that section of the LCD screen.
Check this page out, although they are for laptops, do any of the pictures look like the problem.
