Question : Problem: iR c6800 unable to send emails

Hi,
   I have a Canon iR c6800, and i am unable to send emails from it.  I checked GW, IP, Subnet, and mail server and they are correct.  I can enter my email address, and when i press "start" it dopes scans the document and displays "sending".  after a few mins it displays "resending".  eventually is prints a error report and in the details shows NG

any ideas are welcome

Answer : Problem: iR c6800 unable to send emails

Are you using the name of the mailserver, or the IP address?
Have you entered the DNS or WINS server address on the copier?
Are you using authentication for SMTP?
