Question : Problem: Change display settings without being able to see
|
|
I have a monitor and a projector connected to my desktop pc. I used the projector to watch a movie, and then disconnected the projector, and changed the settings to single display. However instead of switching back to my monitor it went black. I thought it went to the projector, so I connected that again, but the output wasn't there either.
The video card also has another output, but it's one of those that breaks up into s-video and component, and I dont have the wire handy.
My keystrokes can go through and I can shut the PC down using start, u, u, but restarting doesn't help!
Is there a way to change the display, or cycle through displays like you can do on a laptop with the display function button?
Thanks,

Turn off the machine, then during Boot-up of the PC - right after the BIOS screens and before the Windows Logo appears - press the key. Select "Enable VGA Mode" to get into Windows under the default VGA settings. Once you are in, you can set it back to the proper settings.
