Question : Problem: Quicktime reinstall not possible
Hi. Problems with itunes 7.5 - wouldn't launch so I uninstalled it and as recommended here have tried (and tried and tried) to uninstall Quicktime 7.3 so I can downgrade to the smoother 7.2 and then reinstall itunes.
Problem is, despite assisted uninstall and running install cleanup, the computer is still detecting a previous version of Quicktime. I even deleted the whole Quicktime folder from my Programme files. Was this a bad move? Eek.
So, can't install Quicktime 7.2, have botched unistall of 7.3 and wonder how in hell I will reinstall itunes without the latest Quicktime anyway? Mind boggles, help appreciated
