Question : Problem: Video to Itouch

So I'm not sure if this is illegal or not but I have a bunch of DVD's and I would like to put a dvd on my itouch. These movies are currently on DVD'S. How would I get the DVD on my computer and then put it into my itunes?

AsI stated before
Download Handbrake, it coupd rip a DVD and convert it to AVI or MP4 with or without subtitles.
Also look for a Windows guide that is also on the site.
It takes a while, about three hours to rip and recode the video
