Question : Problem: Setting up pass through

Please - I'm trying to set up a Netgear DG834 router in pass through mode on a DSL connection so that I can use a Netgear FVS338 router to host a VPN.  I'm not sure how to configure the 834 to operate in pass through mode - do I use port forwarding?

Thanks.

Answer : Problem: Setting up pass through

Copy and paste the link below into your browser, changing the IP address to that of the DG834.
192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?next_file=mode.htm

This will allow you to change the DG834 into a modem only and let the FVS338 handle the internet authentication, routing and VPN connections.
