Question : Problem: Wireless Repeater or Access points
A friend of mine lives in a large house. The set up his wirless network using access points. He has a Linksys wireless N router connected to 2 Linksys POE Access Points. While trying to connect to his network I saw that he has 3 access points, the router and 2 other access points. When moving from room to room in the house the internet connection becomes very slow depending what room I enter. When I check which Access Point I am connected to I noticed I am not connected to the AP with the strongest signal. I told him he should have used a wireless repeater instead of the access points. He disagrees.
Can you please help settle this friendly arguement?
