Question : Problem: How to remove the inverter board from a toshiba satellite a25-s207?

Hello,
I am Looking for Instructions on how to replace the inverter board and back light on a  Toshiba satellite a25-s207. I found some instructions but they include replacing the hinges with more steps than what I think I need. This is what I found http://www.laptopka.com/2006/04/22/remove-replace-broken-laptop-hinges/. Is there a simpler way or do I need to take all these steps? If there is a better Manual out there Can you please post a link.

Thank You
J.T.

Boy l remember replacing  the hinges in my Toshiba; what a pain in the butt.

you are right; the hinges are much more work then you need to do.

The inverter is right bellow the LCD.
The back-light is a florescent  tube built-in to the LCD.

To  replace/ repair either you'll need to carefully remove the screen bezel.  That will give you access to the inverter and the LCD.  No other dis-assembly required.

lf  It's the same as mine,  this the screen is held in by screws on the sides of the screen.
