Question : Problem: Samsung SyncMaster 206BW LCD compatibility with HP 6910p, cannot set 1680x 1050 resolution

I am having HP Compaq 6910p laptop with a docking station and Samsung SyncMaster 206bw flat screen.
I tried everything Updating drivers, roll backs, but cannot set the resolution to 1680x 1050.

By the way o/s is Windows  Vista Entps.
Any kind of help would be very much helpful.
