Question : Problem: Bluetooth standards and classes

I would like to operate a bluetooth headset with my PC.  What is the difference between a v1.2 bluetooth adapter and a 1.1 bluetooth adapter?
what is the difference between Bluetooth Class 1 and Class 2?  Are bluetooth headsets rated v1.2 or v1.0 or does this rating not apply to the headset,
only to the adapter?  Thank you.

Answer : Problem: Bluetooth standards and classes

v1.2 has extra profiles and stability so you are required to have a v1.2 client and master device to have the enhanced features.  I would highly suggest v1.2 since it has better stability and for headsets, it reduces static over the connection.
