Question : Problem: Power outage warning via email or SMS to the IT personnel

Hi,

Does anyone know of a program or a hardware device that can give the network engineer a warning if there's a power outage in the office for him or her to come over and do a graceful shutdown of the servers and routers before the power in the UPS is completely out. Something that can warn the IT by email or SMS as soon as either power is out or UPS starts working off of the battery?

Or setup a redundant power supply, connect one to the UPS and one to the Regular power outlet and when the Windows event viwer trigers a failiure for the that has no UPS you can try and send this events to e-mail
