Question : Problem: I need a graphics card for an old ASUS A7V133. Best choice?

Hi guys, I'm sure you can help me on this.

I have an old ASUS A7V133 motherboard and I need to buy a graphics card for it. Which is the best graphics card I can buy for it? I mean, I don't want to go and buy an expensive, overfeatured graphics card for this motherboard, If I would use only 1/4 of the graphics card features. I think this motherboard is AGP x4 maximum.

Any help?

That depends entirely what you need it for. Do you want to play games? Or is it just for office? The internet? How high a resultion do you want to run?

If you want normal resolutions no games just browsing, mp3, office and that sort of thing then pretty much any agp card will do. An old geforce will do all that nicely

If you do want to play games you should buy a new motherboard and PCI-e graphics card
