Question : Problem: Touch mouse on laptop
I have a laptop with a touch mouse but have a USB mouse plugged in. I would like to deactivate the touch mouse as it is causing me problems as I'm typing and sending email prematurely. Can you deactivate the touch mouse?

Make/Model would help....but before you turn off your touch pad in the control panel, be sure you know how to navigate Windows with the keyboard. i.e. open Start with CTRL+ESC, etc. I have several laptops in the field and WinXP has a nasty habit of not bringing back a USB mouse when resuming from sleep mode. Or if you are using a battery operated wireless mouse.
