Question : Problem: Sony Laptop Slow Booting Up When Wireless is On

We have Sony laptop which connects fine to private WiFi networks. On public wifi networks with Wireless switched on takes nearly 7 minutes to boot up. Has anyone ever encountered this problem? We reinstalled all the software and the problem is still there.

It was a hardware problem. We had the motherboard replaced.
