Question : Problem: Help with Sql Cluster DAS to SAN migration

Are there any "particular" steps I should follow when move databases and clustered data from a DAS setup to a new SAN solution?

 

Answer : Problem: Help with Sql Cluster DAS to SAN migration

I would Detach / Backup all Databases and then Remove the Clustered SQL Installation.

Remove the Disk Resource from Cluster Administrator Console.

Attach the new SAN Solution and recreate the Disk Resource in Cluster Administrator Console.

Install the Clustered Version of SQL, poiting to that new disk resource.

Attach / Import Databases.

This should do it !
