Question : Problem: Small Business Server 2003 NTBackup reports failed but Logs say all ok

A client of ours has an NTbackup running on small business server 2003. It backs up two drives the system state and the Information store. The backup every day reports that it has failed but the logs seem to show all is OK??? I have attached a log file which hopefully someone can tell me where or if the backup is failing.

You can manually adjust the exclude list by editing the following file using notepad, this bypasses the restriction on what can not be excluded:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Backup\Small Business Backup Script.bks
