Question : Problem: Veritas 9.1 Question - Tape Device

Hey everyone,

I've got a W2K server with Backup (Veritas 9.1), AD, DHCP, and WINS rolls.  It also has an IBM SDLT220 tape drive attached via SCSI.  

We're upgrading to W2k3 and I'm having to move the tape drive to another server.

I have moved the application to an old server with a SCSI card and have connected the SDLT220 tape drive.  W2K sees the drive and it's installed without issues in Windows.

But in Veritas it's giving me issues about the backup device not being configured properly.  I've configured it just about every possible way that I can think of and it still will not work.

This is driving me nuts.  Does anyone have any guidelines or suggestions to help me with this?
