Question : Problem: I can't burn protected songs from iTunes Store to a music CD

Many books on iPod I read said the protected AAC-formatted songs purchased from iTunes Music Store can still be burned to a music CD but the quality won't be as perfect.
So Yesterday I bought a few songs from iTunes store, then I tried to burn them to a music CD along with my own unprotected songs. The tracks do show there are songs burned on CD, but when I playback I can only listen to the unprotected songs, whereas the protected songs from iTunes are totally muted. Am I missing something?
