Question : Problem: having trouble updating itunes. running on a vista system keep getting error code 2738 and then installation is ended

i cant get itunes to update im running on a vista 64-bit system and keep getting an error code when the installation is running . the error code says (the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. this may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2738 could this be a vbscript fault again and how can i fix it
