Question : Problem: Bad -5v Rail
My power supply tests OK accept for the -5v rail. It seems to run without it right now though. How would a bad -5v rail normally affect the computer's operation?
Answer : Problem: Bad -5v Rail
There's nothing wrong with your power supply. Nearly all newer PSUs do not have a -5VDC rail since it is not used on modern motherboards.
