Hello Windows Mobile Gurus
I have just bought a samsung i 900 phone. I would like to use windows mobile 6.1 to sync my windows outlook 2007 contacts. However, I am not even able to load windows mobile 6.1 on my vista laptop. I have checked all my drivers in device manager and it is clean. I have rebooted several times. Here is the error message I get when I attempt to load mobile 6.1.
This is the file that I have downloaded from the microsoft site "drvupdate-x86"
I have done the following
A. redownloaded the file.
B. verified that I have a 32 bit OS (Vista)
C. Rebooted severl times
D. checked for similar issues online
I don't really know what else to do at this stage.

Answer : Problem: can't load windows mobile 6.1 on vista
You cant load Mobile 6.1 on vista. They are 2 different Operating systems.
Maybe I am missing the point.
Perhaps do you mean that you cant load The device manager so you can sync your device?
