Question : Problem: When installing Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) Update on 700p, get error: ... Device Not Supported...

I have a Palm Treo 700p from Verizon, Phone Info--Software Version is Treo700p_-1.10-VZW, running VersaMail 3.5.4. I want the DirectPush functionality, and so am attempting to install the Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) Update (available from www.palm.com). I have tried installing via "over the air" and via Palm QuickInstall... either way, I get the following error:

Title Bar: Device Not Supported:
Message: The Exchange ActiveSync update is not supported on this device.
All I can think of is to uninstall and reinstall Versamail... any other ideas?

Thanks SysExpert, but that didn't work. I ended up having to do a hard reset, then reinstall things in this order: Tre0700p_-1.10-VZW Update, VersaMail 3.5.4, EAS Update. I had to install these via hotsyncing with a different computer to avoid syncing my corrupt setup back into place.
