Question : Problem: No dial tone

I installed a modem at my house for a friend and it all worked lovley but at his house it could not find a dial tone. i have anewly installed british telecom line and he has an a british telecom line that is about 10 years old. it is set to tone dialing. The modem is a conextent 56k. Please help.

Answer : Problem: No dial tone

You must disable the option "wait for dial tone" in your connection settings in order to connect with modem.
