Question : Problem: Network connection through netgear router not verifying username/password

Both myself and my coworker are using the netgear wgr614 v6  router/firewall.  I am using windows xp and I can connect to our network just fine.  She is using vista and cannot connect to our network.  Originally I thought it was a vista issue, but she gets the same problem on her windows xp machine.  She gets a login box where she enters in her username/passowrd.  Then she gets a box that says "Verifying username/password" and it just hangs.  I tried entering in my credentials and it did not work too.  We tried giving her a different IP address schema, but it did the same thing.

Is there somethign that needs to be done on the firewall to enable the conenction?  Can this possibly be a firmware issue?

Turns out is was one of the wan settings on the router.
