Question : Problem: WAP54G / WRT54G as wired adapter
I have a couple of WAP54g's and a WRT54G not in use anymore. I have a computer out in my shop that I need a wireless adapter on.
I am wondering if I can use one of these units and the cat connection on the back of the Linksys to just cable to my computer instead of using a usb or pci adapter on the computer.
In other words, put one of these units in my shop to recive the wireless signal and then connect a cat5 patch cable from the unit to my computer nic card.
Using AT&T U-Verse as isp with a 2wire 300HGV-B gateway.
