Question : Problem: I'm unable to use my Linksys router to get out to the internet with Roadrunner cable.

Hi Experts,

Yesterday I purchased a Linksys Wireless G Router and I was unable to hook it up to work with my Roadrunner cable modem. I did recieved an address from the Linksys but I was never able to get out to the internet. It looks like the linksys router can't communicate with the cable modem. I thought it was the linkysys router, so I took it to a friend's house who has ATT and i pluged it in and got it to work as it should , fast and easy. i'm not sure is Roadrunner's cable modem only allows one pc to connect to it and not a router but I doubt that is the reason. Any help to resolve this would be great.

Did you restart your modem? Sometimes cable modems stuck and accept connections from computer which use to be connected to it untill restarted.
