Question : Problem: ASPI error -4561 DR 5020

I have a used canon dr 5020 that I am trying to get to work. I have loaded the drivers and the adaptec ASPI drivers. I am using Adobe Professional 8.1 and ABBY Fine Reader. Both report the same error when trying to scan. "ASPI request completed but device reported error. (-4561) ... The OS is windows 2000 server.

test the scanner on another PC, or try anotyher scsi card, to determine where the problem lies
