Question : Problem: NOT able to add a Local Printer

I am currently runnig windows xp pro and am unable to add a local printer, except as and administrator.  I checked Group Policy and found that "Prevent addition of printers" is NOT configured.  Please Help !!!

only an administrator or a user with administrative rights can install hardware components. What exactly is the setup of your network? Are you an administrator trying to setup a printer on a local users computer? If it is just one computer, Then log, on as the administrator and install it like that, then log off as administrator. Please specify in more detail exactly what you are trying to do.
