Question : Problem: Bootable Ghost CD
|
|
Hi,
i'm trying to create a bootable ghost cd with Network support that has room for more than 1.44 Mb of data.
What i have tried so far is to use the winimage program to create a bootable 2.88Mb floppy that has room for all the needed files but i can't get the CD to boot.
I did the following...
1. Created the 1.44Mb bootable disk with Ghost Boot Wizard 2. Read this with Winimage 3. converted it to a 2.88 Mb floppy 4. Injected some more files 5. Burned it with Nero using Floppy 2.88Mb Emulation and all the other settings left at default.
Any help appreciated!
Regards,
Mats

I use Bart's Boot CD and throw ghost on it to accomplish that. It boots into a windows built environment then you can run Ghost or whatever Windows programs you pre-loaded onto the boot CD. It rocks!
BartPE is a download which will make the CD for you. Before the actual burning, you'd copy the GHOST contents into the appropriate folder so it ends up on the burned CD.
Here are 2 awesome links. The Bart PE Windows boot CD is by far my favorite utility when working with servers, desktops, etc...
