Question : Problem: Can not reboot servers from Remote Desktop session.
All of a sudden, I cannot reboot my servers from a Remote Desktop session. While in the session, I select Shut Down, Restart, OK, and the "Shutting down computer" dialogue box is displayed, and the session is ended. However, the server does not reboot at all, it just logs out, and then it will not allow another remote session until the server is rebooted (which I have to do from it's local console). Any ideas on this phenomenon? It's most likely a Group Policy setting, because it has affected all the servers in the domain.

I have had this happen after applying updates from a remote desktop session. I normally find I can restart the server from another machine by running the shutdown command as below;- shutdown /r /f /m \\<>
